The jackshaft seems to only have an up/down tilt range of adjustment via the wiggle room around the 4 bolts that mount the pillow blocks. And 1 tensioning adjustment bolt above the rear pillow block. That range of adjustment won't help the angle that my pressure pump pulley is skewed. Maybe I need to bore out the 4 open slots on the pressure pump mounting plate to allow it more left/right wiggle room to align it with the jackshaft pulley 🤷‍♂️

To heck with that, I don't want to touch my jackshaft, the blower belt is lined up perfectly!

This has to be an adjustment on the pressure pump. But there simply isn't any more range of movement within the slots that surround the 4 bolts on the mounting plate. I suppose I could just remove the pump and file the mounting plate slots to be a little larger on the side that counts that would do it, but why wouldn't the factory mounting plate (with an identical spec pressure pump to the oem pump, I'm certain of it) already have the proper range of movement?

Getting the belt on and off isn't an issue. Aligning the pump and jackshaft pulleys is. This is as close as it can get in its range of movement. It is way off. The only way to adjust the pump is loosening the 4 bolts underneath it on its mounting plate, which allows it to slide forward and back and wiggle a little to the left and the right. Looking at the jackshaft it seems only the read near the blower is adjustable, and it is one range of movement: up and down.
Ok so now as long as you dontneed for the pulley to go closer to the pump , you should be able to pull the pulley out and lock it down with it's set screws wherever it needs to be on the pump shaft. Unless its at an odd ball angle( / ) then i don't know what to tell ya .a cds owner need to weigh in and give ya some advice

By this picture. If thats the pump pulley (big closestin pic) than it needs to be moved out. Does your new pump have the same footprint as the old??

Yea the pump has the same footprint. The pressure pump pulley would need to go in toward the pump not further out, but it is as close to the pump on its shaft as it will go, it hits a raised edge and thats it.. I adjusted the jackshaft backwards a bit, and then used a dremel to widen the slots on the pump mounting plate, got it lined up pretty good.

Then as I was watching it run I noticed the pump pulley has a wobble to it! 😭

When I was first prying the old pulley off and the armature got jammed, it seems that it quirked the whole pulley. The dang thing looks wobbly when it is running now, not just the flanges but the whole thing. Which I imagine will probably fry the bearing or something else in my pressure pump if I don't address it soon. I was trying to find a simple vbelt pulley with no clutch to replace this wobbly one online today and so far it is difficult to find a 24mm bore 7in OD vbelt pulley that takes an A class belt.

After your little pump clutch Fiasco. I figured it was time to invest 19 bucks in a on the job fix of my own. This'll go in my vans onboard spare parts cupboard. Ounce of prevention (or in my case several pounds of prevention )

Nice. Looks like you're ready to fix anything that breaks, and possibly build a second TM on the road anytime you wish there Dwain-o.

I've got a new mounting plate, and a browning pulley you recommended to install in my pressure pump this weekend. I could see the pressure pump pulley wobbling after I bolted the old clutch armature and the pulley together. After I ordered the new pulley I realized the whole pressure pump might be vibrating on the old rotted mounting plate. So I am replacing that too.

Man, I'm really starting to hate leaks too! They are disastrous, sooner or later...

I ordered a browning pulley also. Got it off ebay for $19 (i have the proper center) it won't get here till the 20th so i picked up the one i sent a picture of in the meantime. Its a fractional horsepower pulley. If i need it it should hold up for time ill need
