No problem, interested in seeing what you think, I bought that attachment new in 1979, should I move up to this century's crap or an i better wallowing around in the past. I gave you Christmas colors didn't want to let go of my frankinstien greehn hose. I included a precut cuff. That is the tool off my truck i sent it because I knew it well. It works best 200-225psi valves rated @500 as for me i still have 2 more working and at least 2 that need guts. Can't wait to hear what you think. You're probably like my little niece and already figuring out how to stick a glide on it with her its unicorn stickersThank you Dwayne!!View attachment 131731
Does the cat think its crap in the box, and is tryin to bury it??Thank you Dwayne!!View attachment 131731
Or "no soup for you".I can sum it up best by quoting Elaine Benes in an episode of Seinfeld " you're not sponge Worthy"
Im sorry, the truth is id take a bullet for you, not a real bullet! but a nerf bullet for sureHurtful
Are you calling Mikey a sponge?I can sum it up best by quoting Elaine Benes in an episode of Seinfeld " you're not sponge Worthy"
No not at all, You are obviously not a follower of the Seinfeld seriesAre you calling Mikey a sponge?
Ive complimented your (wife's) gardening hat more than once. That’s the closest Mikey has ever come to paying me a compliment!
I watched it.i knew your source. No not at all, You are obviously not a follower of the Seinfeld series
I could get used to a lot of it but without a Glide it's just so grabby and you have to be so critical with the angle in order to keep it from biting inSo ya don't like um?? With the valve on the bottom it'll raise it so it wouldn't get under things it does now like dressers on short legs. A glide would make it move easier but i would think that would prevent it from getting right to the edge. I sent it to ya because you seemed interested in it use it for a few months if it doesn't grow on ya I'll pay the shipping to get it back i love um
Are you pulling it or trying to push it?I could get used to a lot of it but without a Glide it's just so grabby and you have to be so critical with the angle in order to keep it from biting in
And because there's probably only four of these in existence I'm not going to make a Glide for it
you've never used a Glided wand, have you?Are you pulling it or trying to push it?
No ive never really used a traditional wand. My first machine was a rinse n vac i rented it so much that the hardware store sold it to me for 325.00 that was the closest to a traditional wand i used. Soon after buying that i stepped up to a steam geni 731 portable it had a 16" 6 jet drag wand with ann electric push button th turn on and off the pump. About 1½years later i stepped up to a new sg 733 portable it came with the drag wand i still use todayyou've never used a Glided wand, have you?

I know you're set in your ways by now, and you do a good job cleaning, but you really need to consider buying a stair wand. Mike's is a good one, but the only thing that would make it perfect is if there was no curve where the head of the wand meets the tube, meaning the curve only needs to be at the handle so you can clean risers better. No ive never really used a traditional wand. I ran into mine last fall I think it was and put a new valve in it thinking it would make a good stair tool. Its back on the shelf.I could get used to a lot of it but without a Glide it's just so grabby and you have to be so critical with the angle in order to keep it from biting in

I have 4 other wands sold as stair or stair/ upholstery tools and i keep going back to that one the worst and most expensive was the butler stair tool it is way way too big and bulky. Next was this little pmf tool its straight up and down ,but the head is too small and no side wings to stop overspray. Its on the van and i do use it some to clean rvs and frankinstien's carpet because its really short next is this little pmf upholstery/ stairĂ¾auto detail tool it has a clear plastic head and an internal jet with a continuous adjustable bypass built into the valve. The head is way way to small and it doesn't have enough flow for real dirty stairs i love it for auto detailing however i really don't do that any more. Last but not least is the prochem stainless upholstery tool. Got it free from legend rewards after modifying it to bypass at the head continously i love it so much i bought a second and modified it and its a backup i retired my steamgeni 3" upholstery tool ( after 43years use) it works great for upholstery but i drag my knuckles way to much on stairs. Everyone touted the sapphire scientific plastic upholstery tool so much that i used all the rest of my legend rewards to get one. between modification i found necessary with it was to add a stainless hose swivel between the hose and flow valve so the valve would always lay flat when you tried to close up the velcro wrap around it. I personally found that attachment extremely uncomfortable to use and hard on the wrist and it wasn't very maneuverable in tight spaces and corners. Ive used it 4 times now but I never tried it on stairs . I offered it to a friend of mine in Sacramento in exchange for all his old steamgeni stair tools and broken down drag wands. He seems excited to get it im planning a trip over next month to do that and pickup the last 5 new dri eze air pods left in the world he picked um up for me last year and has them in storage. So as you see i have tried a few different tools some i keep and others like the butler well there free or close to free to a good home.I know you're set in your ways by now, and you do a good job cleaning, but you really need to consider buying a stair wand. And I know a stair wand might not clean every nook and cranny like that hand tool pictured above, but your body will thank you and your stair cleaning will be much more efficient
