is a lovely viscose rug a customer wants me to clean. Value of the rug is under $200, cost of cleaning just under $100. Customer has been advised that due to the nature of the rug and the heavy soiling, the results may be less than acceptable. Customers response, well, do your best. Don't you just hate those words? To make things worse, there is a red printed pattern on the reverse side of the rug. I am envisioning red on the face when I am through. Wish me luck.

Dry it face down, so the red wicks to the back.

Rug actually cleaned up not bad. The rug was so soiled I didn't notice the red border I saw on the back was actually around the pattern on the face. Luckily, no bleeding and only minor texture change.
