I hardly ever use absorbent pads when encapping commercial jobs. Neptune pads from Damon at encapstore.com, with maybe a few MF pads for traffic areas...

Agreed. I started off only using absorbent pads. Recently got tried the Fiberplus pads. The do much better on glue down than microfiber or absorbent. Following with the absorbent if needed.
