What's your process currently? I know this has been beat to death, but we're finally starting to get some calls for it. I've seen Stanley's recent add showing them using a hard surface wand

Ive used:
a 175 and pads
an OP and pads
CRB and wand rinse
mop and wand rinse
just a mop and different heads
a spinner
that lame ass Dirt Dragon
carpet wand with a Glide



in other words there is no one answer, study up and be prepared

It’s easy. Don’t let Mikey complicate it. On light soil, mist your cleaning product on and tile wand it off.
If it’s soiled badly, add a rotary scrub

-pressure?
-red/white/blue/maroon pad?
-favorite cleaner?

I always hand clean the seams on sheet vinyl because installers often don’t seal them properly. LVT and wood I just clean right across them. Use your best judgement regarding pressure. If your judgement has proven itself to be poor, then stick to carpet.

I've had good luck on LVP using Saiger's Free and Clear mixed at half dilution with a little bit of Citrus Solve added. Scrubbing with 175 and nylon brush. (I feel the weight and brush helped clean out the little grooves and grains) rinsed with a spinner at 700 psi.

thoroughly dust mop or vacuum first

I use neutral floor detergents (rinse bit easier) but most carpet prespray should work

red or blue pad for scrubbing, keep it lubed.
This is where you dont want to realise you have missed removing grit or a stone and have put a nice pattern over the floor

microfibre flat mop after wanding or spinner, I normally use my carpet wand

white pad or brush (better) or even mf bonnet on 175 to add final shine.. dont try and add shine to a domestic vinyl unless you're good with a 175

It really isn’t complicated. It’s in all 3 of my schools and most of the classrooms are half carpet tile and half lvt.

On hardwood, I’ve learned that most people wait too long for a general cleaning to have any immediate gratification like we see with tile and grout or carpet. So most of my customers will get a light screening maroon pad or 150grit screen with 2 coats of water based poly

As for lvt, just clean it like you clean carpet only with your heat on low at a psi of around 700

And I’m assuming you’re referring to vinyl as that new age linoleum stuff. I clean it the same way I clean LVT
