This is my first berber repair. It went pretty smooth. It is raised up a little higher than the surrounding carpet but I believe that's due to the fact it's in a high traffic area and the donor piece is brand new, I believe it'll level out with the rest pretty quick. Even right now it looks better than any of the other seams in the house, they are all very visable. The customer was thrilled. This house is owned by a church and evidently they have been debating for a while about what to do about this damage.

It was on a seam. I wasn't 100% sure if that would make any difference but I didn't treat it any differently.

Joey,

Very good for your 1st Berber repair... :)

Little-Secret.. Many times with this type of PULL...You can Twist the yarn between your
fingers until it is tight....Then re-tuft ...or.."poke" it back through the primary & secondary backing with a carpet AWL or even a kitchen FORK...

If you don't have seam-sealer with you....Put some clear finger-nail-polish on broken fibers !

Good job Joey.
With practice you'll get the time to do the job way down.
